The Montego Bay Convention Center opened in 2011 as the perfect venue for theater-style conventions, trade shows, banquets and conferences. The center was built in response to the growing need for meeting and convention facilities on the island of Jamaica. The center was built by the Government of Jamaica in conjunction with the China Development Bank.
